| Project Description: | This project will implement a wireless communications network that serves the core mobile communication functional needs of transportation, law enforcement, fire and EMS in the Washington Metropolitan Region. The network will support multiple in-vehicle platforms. In the second year of the project, transportation and public agency systems and databases will be integrated with a 30-vehicle fleet on the network using multiple mobile data platforms. Vehicles will include State and local police vehicles, service patrols, fire and EMS units. | |
