| Project Description: | This project is the FY 2000 ITS Integration Program earmark for the City of Palatka and Putnam County, Florida. Funding for the project was approved in September 2002. The project will provide a traffic signal closed loop system for twenty-eight existing traffic signals in the City of Palatka and surrounding areas of Putnam County. The focal point of the system will be a Traffic Control Center (TCC) to be connected to the signals by a fiber optic communication plant. When implemented this project will provide real-time information and control capabilities to improve traffic management in the Palatka area. | |
