Project Title:   COLORADO TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT CENTER (CTMC) INTEGRATION PROJECT

Project Description:   This project is the FY 2001 ITS Integration Program earmark for Jefferson County, Colorado. The project will accelerate integration activities along the I-70 corridor west of Denver at the Colorado Transportation Management Center (CTMC). The focus of Federally-funded integration will be on software controlling both internal devices and providing a platform for linking to other control centers. A follow-on component of this project will identify, procure and implement statewide advanced traffic management and advanced traveler information software systems at the CTMC. These software applications will link disparate ITS subsystems through a common set of command, control and operating systems and user interfaces.
