Project Title:   TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA I-15 TRAFFIC SURVEILLANCE AND SIGNAL SYSTEM INTEGRATION PROJECT

Project Description:   The primary goals of this FY 1999 Integration Program project are to support existing and future economic and community development without a major increase in traffic congestion and delay along the I-15 corridor and on the city's major arterials. The project will design and install four closed circuit TV cameras (CCTV); design and install a communications system between the CCTV and the city's Traffic Operations Center (TOC), and install the necessary integrated workstation/graphical user interface to integrate, control and monitor the traffic signal system, the surveillance system and freeway variable message signs. Also included is a communication intertie between the city's TOC and Caltrans District 8.
